when are they meant to be changed on a 130 ibiza sport am going to see one tommorrow it is an 04 with 49000 miles and would like to know where i stand

My 03 TDI Sport was definitely every 60k, and the same engine in my Passat was changed at 60k and 120k...

The european manual states 90.000km mine was changed at 92.000km and it was worn out

in the manual it definetly says 80k, whether the intervals been altered since then is another matter!

It has been 60k or 4 years for a long time now. It was the same for many the 3 cars I have owned and the same for the cars my dad owns (none of the other cars are VAG). My manual says 60k
