Throttle Position Sensor Fault

Hey everyone. my car threw up the fault as in the title. Been told it needs a new throttle body. Just wanted to check if this is needed or can you clean a throttle body?

Had a few systems which happened before but happened again this morning.

Driving along the road and the car stopped revving. Would rev above 1750revs, sounded like it couldn't get enough air/fuel then kept juddering when sitting still.

Code said that the Throttle Position sensor was too high. I have been told it's not a wiring fault but a throttle body fault.

Can anyone confirm this and let me know what's involved??

Can you not replace the sensor independently on these? I can't remember what it looked like when I last removed my TB.

I've had a wick search online and cDNA see any separately sold. It might be worth giving Dave a call at SERE motors to see if you can buy it individually.

I've had a look as well. Found a complete throttle body on the old e of bay at 35.
