if I put a post up just to say "Hi I'm a Newbie" before I started posting in here. I have put one up in the Intro section but as I'l lspend my time in here thought it would be good so peeps know who I am :D

I have a Black Leon Cupra R 2005, bought it September last year and love it to bits. Been lookig thru the Forum ever since and thought it was about time I got my finger out and registered.

Car is completely standard, but I have some plans like the usual remap, exchaust etc etc funds and time permitting (4 kids ususally see to the funds problems  ).

Why did I buy a SEAT. Heard good things about them. Been thru BMW, had an Audi Avant Sport, and watched depreciation on both go like dropping stones off cliffs !! The missus said to get something smaller for Work (we had just bought an MPV to ferry the kids round), so I thought small, fast, cheap - Leon Cupra R !! got one form the local dealer to me, and not looked back.
Oh, and servicing costs - WOW - half the price of the Audi costs.......[B)]

thanks for the words Guys.
To answer some of the Q's above:

I'm based in Yeovil, Somerset of all places.
Local dealer is very helpful and very good with servicing pricing, had the 30K service yesterday ,came to £123.00 including parts labour vat etc etc. Would recommend them to anyone else round here.

Dmmsta - ummm..... been watching this for a while now, might go have another look and see what spare pennies I have (here we go modding already !!), but got a Turbo Technics MK1 Golf in the garage that I'm desperate to get back out fo rthe summer so money is going in all directions at the moment.

got a set of Aero Blades and arms int he boot of the car to fit, but been there for a month now and still not got roudn to fitting them. !! will do them now the weather is good though..
