:D Yeah, it's the roof line on the Leon.

But, like you say, it soon teaches them to climb in and out thereselves. See, don't need to get rid of the Leon...

I have the recaro start for my daughter. She has been in it since she was 4 and I plan to keep it until she does not need it anymore.

It's a fantastic seat and goes with the car / interior perfectly, it's red and black. Also has speakers in the headrest so she can listen to different music / DVD.

Have you got a pushchair with a car seat? A travelsystem? Use this until the baby is a year old (approx..) and then get a recaro jobbie.

It is expensive at £200. But I got it much cheaper than that. + it will last a long time. It is far far better built than the plastic ones of other manufacturers. You just have to pick it up to realise the quality of it. and Molly loves it.

I have the Mamma's and Pappa's Primo Viagio car seat
For a new baby this seat was rubbish as the upright postion ment the wee one was bent over double when sleeping. The seat belt didn't seem to hold him very tightly either. There are ones that are reclined a bit ie Maxi Cosi Iso fix, Silver cross. For a young baby this would be far better.
From about 2-3 months the seat was fantastic if a little heavy to carry him long distances in.
Having the base strapped (I have a CG lock for the base so it ain't going anywhere;)) into the car and being able to lift out the seat is very handy when he is sleeping and you want to do some shopping etc, this also clicks into the buggy which is very good.

With the Recaro covering such a long age range does it not seem too big for the start of the range ie 9 months?
I'm looking to change seats soon too as wee man is 7 months and out growing his seat a bit but not too sure what to go for.
Anyone with any help on what is good for this age?

I have 2 recaro child seats and both are excellent. Comfortable, durable and as mentioned they come with extra "street cred." Recommended.

Further to my above comments, once the little one out grows out PriorFix seat I'll be seriously lookin at the Jane Indy Plus (ISOFIX)

Various people on here have recommended them, and they will go all the way up to when I child can legally travel without a booster/seat

Here's a link to one Jane Indy Plus

Hi guys,

How many of you guys have the LCR with the rear recaro option? Does a forward facing car seat fit? which models fit the best? Also does the LCR have isofix points? I currently have the a Maxi-Cosi seat and it is pretty chunky. Looking to get an LCR with the recaro rear but don't wanna end up not being able to fit any car seat!

The LCR has isofix, but be aware if your kids very small and your using rear facing seat still the seat belt is very short and will struggle to go around the back of the kid seat.
I don't have the recaro option so cannot help you there

Thanks,
I will be using a Forward facing seat but do intend to use the seat belts initially as its not an ISOFIX seat. I guess I will have to take the child seat along with me and hpe the owner won't mind me seeing if it fits. It will be a same if it does't cos I really like the rear recaros.

If your seat is forward facing the seat belt will fit no problem. the other thing is the seat part of the Recaros is quite narrow, this might not suit your childs seats base.
I have the MaxiCosi Priorifix, this fits well and is sold as. This has won most of the 'competitions' for kids seats since it came out ages ago.

What's the bit under his bum. My lillun is 3 and that still looks like it would be very tight even without that insert.
