Yup get down the dealers.. Had mine replaced twice under warranty as they were turning pink... No quibbles at all.

Badge colour is not a wear and tear issue its a piss poor quality issue.

Warwickshire once.
Check out your paint and rust warranty!

You could say the badges have been painted, therefore if they are turning pink they are not of a reasonable standard and should be replaced under warranty!

hmm... a usefull hint. Some tape, a knife and a one of those tiny paint bottles (nail polish looking thingies. Dont really know the correct term) and youre all done cheap on costs. Have a steady hand and you dont even need to mask it with tape.

Several people with LCRs had the 'R' badges replaced under warranty due to early corrosion. Got to be worth a try.

If the dealer replaces them under warranty then they claim the costs back from SEAT so no reason it should annoy them.

Hey Ksalmi
I'm not saying get heavy but there is obviosly a quality issue.
The colour should stay constant for at least the warrenty period. Its about how you explain that there is a problem that counts, desk thumping will achieve nothing wher'as a very polite but firm stating of the facts should work.
If not go direct to Seat UK who I have found pretty helpful in the past.
I work in 'design for mass production' and getting it right is pretty important otherwise we would all be driving trabants!! Know what I'm saying?
