I agree. I recall SEAT saying something about that - a bit of a copy from Mini & Fiat, although not something Ibiza owners will complain about im sure.

Dislike it personally purely on the fact that if you decide to tune your engine you are limited by the DSG gearbox. And that limit isnt very high at all.

why are you limited by dsg? i know of dsg boxes running over 400bhp
Id like to see that one. Any sources? Audi themselves have only just made a DSG gearbox themselves capable of handling more torque.

Can agree with this. Personally wouldn't want anyone/anything doing my shifting for me!
The tunning issue seems to be on the most popular DSG units by BorgWarner... There are units like the PDK in the Porsché 911(997) & the Ricardo sourced unit in the Bugatti Veyron, that can handle a whole lot more!!! Yet putting that all aside DSG is really a nice little feat of engineering!

How did the guy manage to get all that power with the DSG box not exploding into a million pieces? Any more info on the car, I havent yet seen any DSG box upgrades by any of the usual tuners.
Wheels are larger on the orange one and fill the rear arches better. IMHO, the arches themselves are identical but they've been highlighted differently on the orange one to make them look wider. Other than that, you can drop them over the top of each other in Photoshop and not notice the difference.
Ref. DSG, have a look at BenCTR's graph from the last SCN/Awesome GTI RR day - 320bhp/360lbft through his DSG box.

right found out myself now and there are kits available for the 3.2 VR6 engine. Its really really expensive though, and obviously it would be a while before upgraded clutches were offered for the 1.4 TSI. So will still stick to the manual box imo.
