Third brake light is it a pain to change?

some may say lala land....
well, managed at last to change the light after having to wait for a new one as original was broke.
took 30min i reckon, and hardest part was getting new bolts to go through hole with dropping inside the spoiler itself

in the end had to order x2 new bolts as the original had seized in the lights so removal was a break it to bits

parts to follow on from lights:
N 102 589 01
Bolt
50p each if i recall

Do you know why the light went? mine has gone due to back washer pipe disconnecting and wetting the plugs for the light, located on the passenger side of the boot, just remove trim to see.
Better check that so it doesnt happen again.

Did you not notice you can put the bolts a couple of turns into the brake light then fit into the spoiler mate?

unfortunately not, all a learning curve this!

no idea why mine went. car has never had a leak in the boot, but only 2nd time in 5yrs ownership so not overly worried. the are a rubbish design anyway as after a wash i notice it has condensation in it so must get blown that way.
