Yep, the FTO owner I know has just given up on hers, too many problems to mention and too much to fix.

This was an FTO Owners Club car too :(

Which model celica?

If it's the ST202 i wouldn't bother, they are awful cars. I had a GT-Four, don't get me wrong it was fast, and had masses of grip, But it was like driving a barge, awful!

My ibiza is so much more fun to drive, nimble and chuckable :)

stay ibiza mate or just dont bother with those two, my mate had problems with his fto, wasnt great. As far as a gt celica I definatly wouldnt bother. I had a pug 106 gti which was chipped and four branch at the time and one of my other mates gt just wouldnt leave me + it rolled around the road everywhere. I think he ahd it 5 weeks all in all , decieding he didnt like it and bought a pulsar.

I wish i had your ibiza then.

Nimble and chuckable isnt something i'd call my ibiza. Dreadful and useless come to mind more.

As for the GT4 and the FTO, i wouldnt bother.

If your car is so dreadful why do you keep it?

It's not as good as the swift gti i had as my first car, or the 106 GTi i had prior to the ibiza in the corners, but it's still good fun to drive.

It changes direction quickly, you can feel what it's doing, any car i dislike is sold within a couple of months, i've had my ibiza since March. :)

Why would you trade in for a cupra r, apart from the rarity i cant see any other reason?

I had a 290bhp Rev 3 MR2 turbo, it was an awesome car! Finding a decent one is getting very hard now though.

Thats explains the campness, and the need for a hairdresser's car!!

I keep it coz it goes well in a straight line. But the handling is awful tho even with coilovers which has helped a bit. Brakes are dreadful as well, but you have a better setup than the 15 year old ones Ibizas have.
