thinking bout a k04

iv been thinking about having a k04 turbo on my ibiza cupra there is a company near me in bristol which will do it for 1200quid thats including turbo,pipe work all manifold modifaction basically everything just wondering whether this price is good or not if any of you can help it would be good cheers tom........

Bristol eh? Who's the company? Does that include mapping? Bearing in mind you'll prob need a few mods to go with it. (FMIC, Turbo back system etc). Would be interesting to know, because thats ko3s money.

thats good , hooch of here charged me that for mine , and that was second hand and needed a map as well , so thats a good price

What pipework does it include?
You can use a ko4 manifold i think which just bolts straight on. Its the oil an water lines and connection to dp that is a problem.

Its not a k04 - 001 is it, as thats basically a k03s, i think its an 023 that can be mapped around 280-290

wont get 280-290 out of a 023 or equvilant, 260 is more realistic

Hooch had 270 odd from his, talking to the guys at vagtech they reckon a correctly setup leon/tt could even get a bit more

k04 s seem to max out at about 280 , with the right inlet and intercooler , should be easily achevable

Yeah, I think the ones that max out about 260 are the hybrids like the am04 etc

thanks for feedback its a company called grant motorsport they are currently moving premises so phone lines are down but i think there on the net not sure what turbo that is this is what he has told me its a low milage 2nd hand turbo and mapping is included i spoke to him today 1200-1400 quid it is actually iv already got a fmic so hopefully all good!!!
