Zircotec Coating

I've also heard that the coating stops heat getting through so you can touch the coating once the engine is off (not sure I would want to try it though).

Zircotecs website says manifold temps drop by 170 deg and that underbonet temps drop by 30 deg.

Take a look at http://www.zircotec.org/page/automotive/12 (the coating can apparently give a 6% increase in power)

The zirconium spray, on a customer car which had done some hard logging on the road, within 30secs of stopping you could briefly touch the DP such was its insulation properties. (and still had skin left.. where as I know on my original manifold, doing the same results in a visit to the burns unit as you loose your skin)
