I'm at the stage now where i dont know where to go with my car. By the end of the weekend i'll hopefully have about £600-£700 to spend on performance. I'd much rather keep the existing engine but running out of ideas, so what shall i do? what would you do if you were me? and one last thing..............i get free diesel so do i do something crazy and drop a turbo diesel in there, or vr6 etc etc??????

Dear Mr Ronnie,
In my views there are 2 options you should consider:

1. Buy a supercharger kit from the US for your car.

2. Or I think you should buy a 110 tdi engine from a mk3 ibiza. You can use OEM engine mounts this way. Slap it in.

There's a complete VR6 set-up on E38 for £600....

Would mean DIY fitting it though, to stay within budget......
