As I said before though, it is only lucky for me that I will be in the Czech Rebublic then and that we have the contact there otherwise I would be sweating to drop the 400 odd quid the rip offs would be asking here. There is a saying though char, what you loose on the swings you gain on the merry go round. You are going to get a good deal on something somewhere. Look at what I will be having to pay for my suspension for example.............................

My Bocanegra has done just over 4k, i have never ragged it, always stuck to the legal speed limit. I was on my way home last night & decided to put the dsg into sport mode. I was giving it some on a long strech of road when all of a sudden the revs would not go over 3 on the clock, a loud wissleing noise started coming from the engine.
my engine managment light has come on & the car drives very very sluggish. I dropped it off at the main dealers this morning & they said they are so busy they dont know when they can have a look at it.
Im not a happy bunny cos im without a car. ill keep you all posted when i hear anything from the main dealer.

thats doesnt sound good at all and the fact they arent even prepared to ive it a quick once over or supply you with a courtesy car is very poor customer service. go down there tomorrow and demand someone to look at it as you have paid a lot of money and if they arent prepared ask for a car, so they can look when they ave time.
Damn dude!!! That aint good man. I agree that the dealers are bad for fogging you off like that, unacceptable IMHO. Let us know what the trouble is ok. I noticed mine was making a wierd whining noise at high rpm yesterday but didn't feel anything was wrong as the car was pulling fine. Playing around in manual, love it hehehehehehehe
Problem is if the dealer allready has two weeks of booked in work they will have to slot it in where they can. How would you feel if you had booked your car in for a service and they said they couldn't do it as they did a breakdown instead, same with loan cars, we don have an endless supply and they are booked weeks in advance.
Problem might not be as bad as it sounds, could be a boost pipe that has popped off so chin up.

Mine does that now and again. It did it before the map as well so I'm not too worried.
Are there not any other dealers you can go to?
Hi guys, had a call from the main dealer around 9:20 this morning. They told me that the car has a fuel problem & they still need to do some more tests. I called them back at 4pm today because i didnt hear anything, now they tell me the car might need a new fuel pump & they are only half way through the tests. Im not sure if they are fobbing me off or telling the truth. I asked for a loan car & guess what? they dont have any. I will call them again tomorrow to see how far they have got.
hmmm didnt realise the situation was that bad lol. i think they could have been a little more polite with the reply or how they dealt with the situation.

dont have an endless usply of cars, i suppose it is very annoying but they can only do what they can do.
I know, all i can do is wait. I suppose my Bocanegra is in the right hands.

Ive just spoke to the main dealer & they are still running tests on the car, i told the woman that i was very concerned that they still have not found what the fault is, she said they are doing everything Seat is telling them to do & that they have taken the car for a road test twice but still not found what the problem is.
I supose ill just have to be patient!!

Sorry to hear you are also having some problems mate. Hang in there, they will source the problem and find a solution soon.
I got my Boc back this evening after nearly a month. It seems to be running fine at the moment. My dealership were excellent and kept me informed at all times. I got a courtesy car...didn't even need to ask for it! I also got a new spoiler fitted while in for repair and it is a good job.
Try to keep positive!
**Edit - My Boc has been revived! The pheonix arises from the ashes lol

Not got a boc but got the new cupra (pretty much the same i know), two days after purchase with only delivery miles on the clock a seal on the gearbox failed leaking oil all over my drive, took it back to the dealer the next day and was without it for 2 weeks whilst a new gearbox was fitted!
The seat Bocanegra/ Cupra are beautiful cars.

If you NEED a car and your new car breaks down, use the Seat Assissatance to take the car to the dealership ratehr than limp it yourself, as a courtesy car comes with Seat Assistance (they'll take you to the nearest enterprise car hire and get you one), if you dont use them, you cant get one retrospectively
