My climate control seems to increase the fan speed all by itself. Ill turn the temperature up to Hi cos its cold at night, the fan speed will be on bout mid way when i stop pressing the button,

and all of a sudden ill look at the display and its up full whack, it does it on other temperatures as well

any ideas? or is this normal

you'll find it uses some "intelligence"....

If your engine is cold, it won't pump cold air into the cabin, so it'll keep the fans on low until the air is warm enough to warm the cabin up to your chosen temperature. If your chosen temperature is "Hi", then of course, expect to be cooked. Because "Hi" means HOT. :bleh:

I don't think i've ever had my temp settings any higher than about 24, and that is a little too warm for me.

Even the manual mode isn't fully manual - if you ask for Hi it just won't let you force the system to pull in cold air.
