Temp Sender! And Boost Problem

I found today when my car was sat in traffic it had gone from 90 - 110 on the gauge??

I done VAG-COM lastnight and it came up as Temp Sender Fault so I guess this would be my problem?

Soon as I pull away and drive it goes back to 90..

Also my car hestitates on boost from around 3.5k but not all the time? On VAG-COM it showed a leak and the engine to be running lean.. Well I replaced the hose from the top of the DV and it's still does the same most times I plant it..

Looked back on VAG-COM and now there is no faults! not even the temp sender fault! Whats going on anyone know?

mine was intermittent, replaced the sender anyway as its only £20 and 5 minutes to do

As above for me. Coolant temp sensor from the dealers/parts place.

ok cool, just leaves me to my boost problem now then. hoping when i change some more vac hoses tomz it will sort the problem...

Temp sender could cause boost problems could it not?

well im hoping so cos vag-com lists the temp sensor as a fault and i now dont have a fault code for the engine running lean and a leak in the system how ever i do still have the problem it strugles to get to the redline?

i'll do some more logs tonight and post them here.. hope i get a answer and get my parts tomorrow!
