Just put 500 miles on mine, driving to Edinburgh and back. Really comfortable journey. The cabin is a lovely place to sit for 4:30 hrs 👍🏻

The infotainment system has been pretty stable since I changed the key fob battery about 5 weeks ago, cure or coincidence?

Until today….🤣🤣
This is what bugs me - the complete randomness of the issues.
There is no logic as to when they will happen.
Not everyone gets them - even though many are on the same firmware.
They come and go so it is almost impossible to demonstrate the issue to a dealer.
Some of the issues that were "fixed" in earlier firmware updates - re-appear on later firmware.

It's easier to list what I don't like...
Boot light is too dim, I've added the extra one from east Yorkshire retrofit, its improved it but still too dark.
Cupholders are stupid,
Temperature and volume buttons don't light up at night.
Wireless phone charger cooks any phone if left on it for more than 45 mins or so.
That's about it, really minor so it shows its all good. It's quick enough, it's comfortable, it's a nice place to be, equipment levels are good and it looks good.
As others have said there are good and bad cars, the same with any make and model, my issues are with some of the design but not enough for me to dislike the car!
Good luck with the wait!
Exactly that. I would only add in my dislikes the turbo lag/throttle response on my 310 (not as sharp as I was expecting) and the creaking of drivers (guess it could be the same for all doors) plastic upper door panel when pushing to open the door, really feels quite cheap made and fit, other than those all good.

Lots of positives with our V2 1.5 DSG.
Driving position, suspension/handling, lights, seats, dashboard, sound system ... it's all just a bit more special than a bog-standard VW or Seat.
Daughter loves the rear seats ... plenty of space.

The OP asked for 'something positive about your Formentor'. Plenty of threads to post your dislikes on this forum.

Didn't see any body objecting Dazed on the same, and rightfully so as our point is to show that all is good with our cars, apart from a couple of things. Yes, I could be more to the point and say how good the handling is, how good the seating is, how good the suspension is, how good the engine is, how nice the digital instrument panel is, the steering etc but all this is said and known and that's why I said ALL is good. By mentioning a couple of dislikes it only adds credibility to your likes.

something nice: if someone told me I could go back in time to shoot Hitler or back in time to not buy this car, I would choose to go back and not buy this car. Mine is in the shop now, for the 10th time in 20 months. It's gonna be there for 1 week to change the mechatronic system. fun times!

My Granny used to say "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything".

🤔 She also said that she'd "...sooner keep me a week than a fortnight". But that's another story 😁

Still loving the drive, the onboard toys and the relative anonymity on the road.

Foxi is a welcome addition to the Wyld Stallyn Stable. 😎

I'm in the middle of a long trip with my family, 4 of us adults, that includes mainly mountain twisty roads, lots f them, done abt 750 km so far, 250 km today (these 750 km are all mountain drives, I don't count the highway drives as we all know the car is stellar there), took me almost all day as I had to go up and down mountains to get to the places I want to go. It has to be the best car for such trips, never got tired, the car is planted with almost no rolling at all, that's why it doesn't tire you, driving always in Comfort mode unless when overtaking where I switch either in Manual mode or Cupra mode. Don't think there are many cars out there to offer the package this car offers. Yes I'm talking about the 310 but I believe the same stands across the Formentor range. Consumption is a respectable 8.5 lt/100 km with 4 adults and full trunk, yes on the mountain roads you cannot do 150-200 but still judging from my previous cars and the Q3 I had its still very good. Thankfully I didn't have any car issues on the 22k km I've done so far and hope I will not have but even if I do I will not for a minute regret for buying this car. Surely costs a lot but is worth every penny, unless ofcourse you have the issues AndyRBL has:(

Likes:
- looks, out and in
- being a phev, I LOVE that I can pre-condition the car, especially in hot summer days
- being able to drive short trips in EV mode + pretty good consumption overall
- the separate physical buttons on the steering wheel
- easy to drive and to live with / reliable (other than a few software glitches, no issues so far, for me, in 2y and 30k+ km)
- reasonable price for what it offers (for me, at least.. I mean, my spec and at the time I got it.. since now prices have gone up..)

Main complaints for me:
- 360 camera resolution and the implementation could have been better (really wondering now whether the cameras can be retrofitted with better ones)
- cup holders not adjustable and not really usable for two drinks, unless they are carefully selected and premeditated :)
- connectivity box not really useful for charging.. it's more like a storage area for me, most times..
- OTA updates not really useful or feature-packed. Same for the mobile app

I don't regret having added any of the options, but the ones mentioned could've been better implemented

I understand your sufferings but I don't think you chose a suitable analogy there.
Surely you would prevent the second world war and the holocaust etc ?
