On company time (I stick to speed limits etc, why would I risk it?) I get an average of 49mpg, and thats a mixture of A roads and motorway miles.. Not bad. If i can it, it can read as low as 35mpg.. But never below, on an open road
My only compaint about the FR TDI is that it seems to not want to rev, when driving it doesnt want to go anywhere near the 'red' region, driving fast I often change up circa 4,000 revs.. I feel if it was tuned to peak at 5,000 the driving experiance would be much better
I average about 35mpg in my tdi - I drive to work in headvy traffic though. My understanding is that you will proably get about 10mpg more out of the TDI.
