don't worry bout it mate, welcome to the site.
both good choices of car, but the FR is group 8 insurence and the cupra is 15 i beleive. plus if you get a facelift FR the looks arn't that differant and you can remap it to 170BHp easily so it'll be quicker then a standerd Cupra aswell
remap is about £400 to £500, revo and custom code are popular choices and have there own sections on this site. revo is more popular with the petrol peeps, but CC has a smoother torque curve to avoid clutch issues, may seem pricey for a bit of software but you get that back in cheaper insurence and paying less for the car in the first place. as for MPG if driven very very hard you with see a small decrease in MPG, but if driven normally you can see figures increase due to reaching cruising speed quicker as your not accelerating as much
My TDi Sport (100bhp) manages good economy Has averaged a 50.5mpg average since I got it (that's after 2100 motorway miles, I've just filled it up for the 5th time this evening ).
got FR tdi, personally for us its better than the Cupra. as mentioned, ins gp 8 (£303 per year)
had a 1.2 SXi before, so the 130bhp is more than ample. may remap it later in the year
had nearly 50mpg on a run with only 400 miles on the clock
