Hi

I've managed to find what looks like a replacement wheel for the one I knackered a while ago. Now the picture looks the same and it is a 205/45 R16.

Question... Does anyone know if there are different "fixings" wheel wise for the Ibiza. Or are the number of bolts / size etc. common across all models?

I would hate to buy it and find it's the wrong one.

I've Emailed the guy selling it and not had a reply yet.

Really just fishing for information.

PS. The plastic centre on mine have "S" (for Seat obviously) on a black background. The wheel I'm looking to buy, the "S" would appear to just be on the plastic (IE. no black background). Could just be a poor picture I suppose.

Thanks...

Definitely looks like the right one, I don't recall any different sizes for 16" Sport alloys.
They did change the centre caps slightly, I bought a spare set for mine and the centre caps were a slightly different design on the later sport models.

Thanks muddyboots.

Though I suspect I should be able to swap the centre cap for the one that's currently on my knackered wheel.

Must admit to being slightly amazed that the guy selling it has not got back to me. It doesn't look like he's exactly been inundated with offers for it!

PS. The guy has just Emailed and said "it came off a 2003 1.9 TDi". So that should be OK then.

Can't say that Ebay is my favourite place to buy. But £61 + P&P for an unmarked alloy + a virtually new bridgestone isn't too bad. Lets hope it's "as described". No reason to doubt the guy, as he looks to sell a lot of car bits and appears quite "up front" if there are any marks / defects etc.

It would have obviously been cheaper to not smack the alloy in the first place! But that's life...

the caps changed loads, the older ones had black centres, some have lot lighter centres with similar style to above. If u have ever tryed sourcing one the 90mm badges or centre caps then u will know just how diffrent some are.

the wheels are also different colours!

I had the standard 16's when i bought my 130 sport, then later on got a set with the red centre caps, and they had a much shinier finish, almost metallic, will try to dig out a pic later on.

Wheel/tyre arrived OK yesterday. Other than one very small curb mark, it hardly looks like it's been on a car! Must admit that it does look a little shinier, but just assumed it was because my current wheels have been on the car some 4 years+ Hardly noticeable though. Luckily I was able to swap the centre cap over, so that it matches the other three wheels.

All told I think I got a reasonable buy.
