Right, driving home from work tonight, started the journey as normal, TCS off and nice slow driving until she was up to temp. Drove hard'ish down a duel carriage way then broke hard for a speed camera ( testing the brembos out), all fine. Then almost home and went to pull away quickly and went into limp mode, no boost at all, did get a strange burning smell, been doing this for a while but think it just my clutch. Went to turn the TCS back on and now it wont go off! Sounded what can be described as a slight grinding sound when i pulled away slowly off a speed bump, thats when limp mode started
Been searching the forum and could be one of a few things....
1) MAF dieing or dead?
2)ABS sensor or pump?
Working all day tomorrw and need the car to be working... going to try and unplug the MAF and see if that has any effect. I know the next best thing is to get it on VAG com and scan for errors.
Anyone shed any light if they have experianced a similiar problem?
thanks
