Switchable Stock Remap - AMD OneClick & Revo

Am I right in thinking that if you were looking to get a switchable stock remap for a 225LCR the AMD OncClick and Revo are the two main options.

These work out at roughly

OneClick ~ £499 including switching unit
Revo ~ £499 + £149.00 ~ £650

Apart from the slight difference is maps they basically offer around the same don't they?

The switchable Revo - can that be set to put totally stock back on + base modified map?

Cheers for any info

I think the Revo "Stock" is Revo's version of stock performance levels, so if anyone looked at your ECU, they can still tell if a map was on it.

May be wrong, but someone will confirm soon :)

Why do you need it switchable ?

Jabbasport do something silmilar with their boost controller.

You can set it at stock (9-10psi) and all the way upto max (21psi)Anything in between aswell.

Handy obviously for fuel economy reasons

Personally I would prefer to have it so I could switch it back to standard for going back in for servicing etc.

A service engineer would be able to test from a test drive if its been modded and then its the usual tussle with them if there is a problem

I dont think any of the offerings are undetectable mate. If they look hard enough, they will find it.

Just do what I do & goto a Skoda garage for servicing :)

Twice as helpful, half the price, and if you need warranty work doing, SEAT wont have a record of your mods :)

As far as I know, the 'oneclick' unit from AMD has a copy of both the standard map originally from your car and the modified map. You have the ability to upload both whenever you want. The 'oneclick' unit can also clear fault codes which I don't think the SPS unit's can....

Sounds a lot like the Bluefin device from Superchips. It downloads your standard map, uploads the new one and allows you to repeat that process as often as you like.
