Just wondering! Are the ARB bushes a DIY fit or is it a trip to the stealers to get fixed?

Fairly easy to fit yourself. Two bolts hold the arb bush clamps in place. Just undo them....remove the old bush...insert the new bush and then re-bolt the clamp in place. obv the same on each side :)

I thought I might add that my car is all over the road still, even after replacing the rear wishbone bushes. Something is seriously not right. On the motorway at speed it feels like the wheels are moving around under the car while the wheel remains in the same position. The feedback from the wheel is delayed and vague. I have no idea what it could be. Do the racks wear out? Top mounts, dampers, drop links? Maybe my hard driving style has worn a collection of the front end suspension componets?

It might seem like a stupid question, but you say that the dealer said that the ARB bushes were okay - if they were worn that would mainly just cause knocking. It seems that a lot of VAG dealers are in denial about the ASB stops cracking - have you checked that the ARB can not be moved from side to side? You are still using the term "rear wishbone bushes" are you quite confident that the dealer changed the (front wishbone) TCA rear bushes and fitted the Cupra one in - why I am asking is because you say that the dealer thought that your problem might now be the console bushes - BUT THEY ARE THE TCA REAR BUSHES - sorry for shouting, just trying to force you into making things clearer - so that we might be able to help solve your problem.

Sorry mate if If I am being missleading. Me and a mate changed the bushes. They are the round solid rubber with a metal outer. We checked the ARB bushes and they seemed ok. I've not checked the front wishbone bushes though.

Thanks
