Hi Everyone,
I am about to replace the front suspension struts on my V5 Tolly and wondered if it was a straight forward job?! I did the rears a few months ago but the fronts have had it after 119k miles!

Also, I want to replace the spark plugs. I have always used Bosch but don't want to pay a garage to do a simple job. Can anyone tell me what plugs I need. I would like Super 4's or anything above.

Many thanks

Hi, Thanks for the link to the site. I was just about to buy some front shocks for the car but may have a problem. I have Spax shocks on the rear which seem to do the trick and are a reasonable price. So I thought I would get them for the front as well. Problem is the site I have seen them on states the following:
"a modified anti roll bar is required to prevent fouling"
Any ideas what this means as this is a bit beyond me and really just want to swap them over and get the wheels aligned.
Thanks

basically, as you lower the front of the car (golf mk4 chassis as it is) the deisgn of the anti roll bar means it will foul on the wishbone, you can get uprated droplinks to fix this issue, speak to bbt or awesomegti and they will be able to sort you out.

Thanks for the info. What the site is saying is that over 45mm lowering at the front the modified roll bar will be needed. As I'm not intending to lower the car, do you think this appiles to me?

Thanks again
