Thanks Willy, the question still remains though, why is it doing this? I'm thinking that it's the map now TBH and the mods that I've stuck on since it was mapped (TB exhaust, Jetex, 3" TIP) have just exceeded the capabilities of the generic Stage 1 AMD.

How does my N75 look from those logs, can you tell?

So what do you reckon, stay off WOT at low revs, fit a FMIC and take it down to AMD for a Stage 2? There are a few members on here with the same mods at me on Stage 2 with none of my issues and no MBC. Tom, if you happen to read this, would you mind logging block 115 on your VCDS for me so I can compare?

I can feel the car choking at higher revs, feels slow now but if the boost is low then would be expected.

See my reply in my RR mate. Will try get them done soon as I can.

On your surge, can someone explain if N75's can be swapped over from car to car in the same way a MAF can? i.e to test if Jay's is faulty?

If you we're closer you'd be welcome to try mine out.

your actual shoots past request, so n75 is something to swap out.
ecu has lost its control of the boost.

swap for a known to work n75 and see what the effect is

New N75 on order, genuine new part at a decent price so I couldn't refuse. If it turns out not to be this then it'll be going up on Ebay for resale and to recoup some cost.

I got a quote from my local SEAT who wanted £84 in VAT, trade price. I paid less than half that :)

Nice one, any chance we can see blocks 115 + 118 logged together, this will tell us what duty cycle the turbo is running?

No problem at all, I hope to have the N75 by Saturday morning so once that's fitted and the ECU is reset I'll do some more logs and get them up.

If this doesn't help matters at all then I'm only to assume that this is MAP related and that the TB exhaust & 3" TIP have allowed boost to build so efficiently that the code in the ECU cannot control it. I guess this is to be expected with a Stage 1 generic map loaded onto a standard LCR, it didn't forsee having all these extra bit on it. If that's the case then she'll be coming off the road for a little while (as it is anyway :D) and I'll be adding a Forge cooler into the mix, then a drive down to AMD for Stage 2 mapping.

I know you guys are telling me to put an MBC on this which I know would help but the car worked fine before hand so something has gone wrong, this is what I want to find. As Willy pointed out also, my boost is poop at the top end which I guess is in the way the car is mapped however, the car feels noticeably more sluggish at the top end than it did before so I am hoping that is N75 related too.

P.S. New N75 is the standard 'F' (058 906 283F) version again which I believe is now numbered 06A 906 283E.

Yup that's the one, just a standard replacement, none of this high spiking J or H stuff from RS2's or RS4's, they'll just send it even more spazzy.

Yeah I read about those RS4 one's sending the wastegate crazy or something on audisport.

Bookmarked that site, cheers for the link.

Hope the new one sorts your surging issue finally!

Well like Ive already told you mine was fine for 2 years till it developed the same fault, Ive been thinking MAP fault for a while but would have thought it would have showed up in logs
