My FR TDI is remapped, not with superchips though.

Its not a huge difference power wise, though the pull is a lot smoother and more responsive. Up the gears it pulls a lot better too. MPG has improved. Well worth the few hundred £ i paid.

who was yours done by and what are the figures approx?

I think that one of the best features about the Bluefin device is that it can be removed very quickly to make the ECU look normal.

Not having to tell your insurers that the car has been chipped can save you a small fortune. Please note that I do not condone this, and I tell my insurer everything, but I have a few friends who have bought the unit simply because it is so simple to switch back to normal.

If you're going to keep modding, and if you're willing to spend big money, i'd imagine the Revo system is better...or at least that is the feeling i've got from most of the users on SCN

please tell ins companyas the bluefin will trip the flash counter. Also I've read some where that some one had a DPF issue and that vag com or something showed the power and torque at the point of limp mode.

Also an ins compay is unlikely to look at your car if only a small issue, if a bigger issue then there start looking, and if it is bigger then the chance are that your not be in a possition to use the bluefin.... It doesnt work remotely from hospital :)
