ok i thought i should start a thread, had the car long enough
ok i brought her back in December 2008
she was dropped about 100mm, got it from near Southampton
here's how it sat when i got it
was decent, had low mileage (74k) but needed bits and bobs doing, so haggled the price right down
it had angel lights and a magnex exhaust, i did not like either
so over the time both are gone/going (exhaust is going soon for a standard one)
also the coilovers had dirt etc in the so i couldn't raise it, and living in Birmingham/Coventry Uni, i just couldn't hack it being young(er) and just got my first fast car
so i put her back on standard springs/shocks
basically the car has been in a shunt before (before i got it) and the plonker put the wrong slam panel on, there was an AC and non-AC slam panel, as the AC rad was 30mm longer
he put an AC rad on my car, and as the rad was too short, the rad was fouling on the front sub frame, so over violent bemps would jerk and knock my radiator top pipe out
but i didn't know this, so for weeks and months i read up, asked people etc to find out why it wasn't sitting right until i went to my favourite Breakers yard (gtikezz hahaha she breaks alot of mk2 ibiza GTI's) and i compared the 2, and now it is rectified
it has had little niggles, and was neglected before me, so i have been giving it TLC!
still pulls like a slapper on a drunk night out
i then got bored of the tractor stance, so i got hold of some springs, and it is at a much better height lol

as you can see she gleams, as she is washed, waxed and polished all the time, which i think last owner might not of?
