Had 2 new Eagle F1's fitted on the rear yesterday. Moved the 12k old Vredesteins from the rear to the front..

Tracking was out so had it adjusted. Recently prior to the new tyres there was a faint rumbling from front wheels (i guess) however since having the tyres replaced (were p6000) the noise has become unbearable, sounds really loud throughout the speed range. Deffo a wheel bearing.

Any ideas why the noise has benn amplified.

My theory is the fact that its in for MOT tomorrow. bugger

Could this be due to the tread pattern. Also things do sound worse closer to MOT time. Best of luck

well she sailed through.

MOT tester couldn't find any play, rumbling or grinding in any of the bearings. puts it down to the new tyres being noisy.

Funny thing is I have never had any major noise issues with the vredesteins before. Old man used to have the exact same tyres on his a6.

Has anyone else had any issues with the f1's being noisy?????
