Thanks mate i will try your suggestion with the dashboard, i think i have made a small breakthrough on the issue, it's localted on the plastic part on the right side of the air vent, i have attached a short clip showing that when i poke around on the right end there is a buzzing noise, can this plastic part be taken off without the dissasembly of the whole dashboard? Mine rattles when tapped there, but doesn't buzz from there during driving. I've never taken that piece off, so probably worth googling - I reckon it'd be a bit of a pain being that close to the windscreen, and you wouldn't want to risk breaking a clip and it falling in, as you'd never get it back, and would probably buzz even worse...
Hopefully someone else will chip in if they've taken that vent out.
