Just as my 110 tdi comes on boost around 1800 revs in 3rd, 4th and 5th there is a shudder, but goes around 2000 revs.

A friend suggested it could just be an injector problem and that i should flush them out. But i just aint sure.

It happens in a straight line and around corners.

Please help!!!! :(

Is your Ibiza remapped? sounds a bit like flywheel 'judder' as too much power for it. Try not to floor it until around 2.5k revs and you should be fine.

I have the same a bit on my FR TDI remapped if I floor it under 2k revs.
Only thing to eradicatre it would be an uprated Flywheel i think or if possible to get a less aggressive remap.

Sounds like resonance from the dual-mass flywheel.

Cure is to get the map adjusted to knock back torque a tad around the affected rev range.

I have a 2004 Tolledo TDi 110
Does mine have a dual mass flywheel as well
Would problems with this give the same effect as a knackered clutch without ruining the clutch friction plate?

cheers goble
clutch isn't a year old and feels like its on its way again
Dealer told me mine didn't have the dual mass on when I mentioned it (was there a recall on last year?) and told me the clutch wasn't worn but they replaced it anyway (seller stumped the clutch before I bought the car)
Do they warranty replacement parts as well? 16K does not seem many miles if it is the clutch

Doesn't a worn thrust bearing have the same effect? by the way, dual mass flywheels are the single biggest step backwards in the history of the universe. ever.
