Only recently this has happened, but whenever i am going around a left hand bend and go over a bit of a bump in the road a weird noise comes from the front wheel on the drivers side. It almost sounds like the wheel is rubbing against something. I have only put 30mm springs on it so cant imagine this being the problem. Has anyone else had this before? or does anyone know ehat it is?

I've recently put coilovers on, 30-50ml drop, and even set at their highest my drivers side wheel is rubbing on the arch on full right lock, and you can see the mark where it is touching. I've got some spacers to put on now.

Have you had a good look? Is it only on full lock or close to it? Are you running standard wheels? Check the wheel arch and the suspension for signs of rubbing, you should see a smooth (clean) patch on the arch if its rubbing there, or probably a rubber mark if it's the suspension it's touching. If no sign, probably something else........

Yeh its running on standard 17's at the moment with just lowering springs. Its only recently started to happen and dont know if it is because the springs have bedded in a bit more now.

The car is up on the ramp next saturday so will have a look then. When I turn it on full lock still cant see much. If it is rubbing will spacers help this problem?

I've just put 10mm spacers on the front, and i've still got my rubbing!!!!

I even put some masking tape on the spot where i thought it was rubbing, but it was still there and clean when i got back from round the block......back to the drawing board:confused:
