Strange knocking when pulling off

Hi Guys,

I'm getting a strange knocking sound when pulling away from very slow/stand still. to me it sounds like its coming from around the engine area (although dad thinks its coming from the rear)

It happens on full lock and straight. would i be right in thinking its possible drive shaft issues?

Most likely it could be the cv joint or a bush

jumping the gun here guys... have you had a cambelt/clutch fitted recently?? chances are if you have then they have reused the old "stretch bolts" and they may need tightening in the short term but ultimately replacing in the long.

Drive shafts will click/knock when cornering. poss rear wishbone bushes/dogbone mount?? infact its endless.

best bet is to ring your local Vauxhall dealer (yes you heard me) they are running a free Vehicle health chec promo at the min so you can pop your car in for one and just mention there is a knock when pulling off/cornering??

its only done 22,400 miles so i hope its not the bolts

wouldnt say its a cv if its doing it in a straight line,usualy olny when turning
