I would like to fit a microwave and shock sensor facility to the car, but if I add an alarm will the stock alarm have to go and is it much good anyway?

stock alarm isnt too bad. Hit and miss with most alarms to be honest. I started a thread recently along this subject and just had my time wasted by many many completely uninformed opinions. I'd suggest you ask a dealer or someone who 'really' knows what theyre talking about 
Most car alarm places will talk u into an aftermarket one anyway , my old car had a toad ai606 it wa good mind and never got messed with , prob because wired to the siren was airhornes !!!!
