Hiya - I'm changing my K&N filter back to the oem airbox with a green filter, I'm considering changing the stock intake pipe that sits behind the headlight for something like this;
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Universal...023647?hash=item419a06fd9f:g:bpUAAOSwDNdV6vRr
and taking it down to the fog light area.
Is this a worthwhile modification?
Do I need to worry about oil temps?
will the ebay pipe above have better flow, its ribbed and will probably cause turbulance where as the stock part is already smooth...
Any thoughts?
I've also read that smoothing the airbox can lead to moisture seeping into the MAF, anyone had this?
thanks,
Will.

LC - AUQ
If I remove the SAI is it possible to get this deleted from the ECU so it doesn't give a fault code?
I'm attempting to get my car ready for a map in the new year; I've changed the cambelt, tensioner & water pump, I will replace the N75 and DV with new OEM soon. Maybe a TIP if I can afford it,
Apart from that is there anything else you would recommend changing?
thanks,
Will.
