yea he is someone to do with the company... was strange to be honest because when i went to kwik fit for the retest the guy behind the desk said to me every month i have to do feedback on one car and funny enough your car came up. did you write something on a website etc... and i said yes (cause i wrote it on here lol) and just told him about unhappy i was etc... and he said he's going to speak to the guy who did the mot, plus the parts i've had fitted that didn't need replacing there's going to hopefully re-inburse me that money, so my garage where i had the parts fitted are going to write me a receipt of how much it costed me...

so all in all sorter a happy ending but still not impressed with kwik fit would never go there again.

best going to a local garage, or somewhere somebody recommends. Hopefully you'll drop on somewhere where you get on with the people who work there and your sorted.
I would never take my car to kwik fit kinda place for work doing because most of them don't have a clue and they charge you stupid amounts. Only time I go is because my local garage don't have tracking stuff and bigger garages have laser tracking which is useful when your car is lowered.

When you want an MOT doing in future,I'd suggest going to your local council depot. They do the testing on council vehicles (bin lorries etc),and by law they have to be open to the public too.
They don't do repairs,so the idea of them failing vehicles to bring in work is taken out of the equation.
Look on the money saving expert website to see what others have to say about the idea of a council MOT,but I personally won't go anywhere else now,as there are too many garages just looking to take us down.
