griffin itrip fm transmitter

connects2 interface

denison icelink

3 of the options available - the connects2 and the denison are ~£100 and the itrip is around £10, quality isnt amazing with the itrip.

Ive got the itrip, I couldnt justify spending 100+. The noise of the exhaust, airfilter muffles out any real top end sound quality.

The only benefit I can see it controlling the pod from the radio controls.

connects2 is a excellent adaptor mate, I sell these in work and the quality is first class! In fact we have more reliablilty issues with Ipods than we do with these!

Technically they are illegal in this country as they plug into your Ipod and transmit the signal as a short wavelength FM signal, which you have to have a licence to do, although Ive never heard of anyone being arrested for it. The sound quality will be comparable to a poor quality FM signal, you can get a connects2 adaptor to allow you to charge and command the Ipod using the factory fitted mk3 radio although this will require you to do away with your CD changer if you have one fitted
