Stereo display fading?

Anyone had there stereo display fade now again so u cant see half of the scren but once u touch the screen it reapears again?Somtimes it can go days without dissapearing tho!strange weak connections im guessing! cheers

Have you tried removing the front of the cdplaer - air con etc off and checked that the small plug that connects the front pannel to the head unit is connected properly?

i once had a similar problem but that was down to the fact that the plug wasn't connected properly

Cheers for that buddy, will take off the cover 2moz and check the connection of the plug link up!is the small plug easy to spot i take it?good to hear from another cupra owner in the southwest as doesnt seem to be many of us guys around the local area! are u going to gti international or southwest motor show?

no im not mate. unfortunatley got other things on. There doesn't seem to be many around in the southwest.


The cable is easy to spot tho mate. Be carefull not to bend the pins thats all.
