Steering Knocking

Hi All -

When Im sterring, theres like a knocking sound coming from near the wheel -

if im stationary and turn the wheel, i cant hear it - but when im, lets say doing a U turn, i can hear it as steering wheel is turned and im moving away at slow speeds -

possible CV joint?, steering rack -

I only here it every now then -

hi there ive had this problem since ive had my car still doin it now, pissin me off
had my drive shaft recond new clutch gearbox still not found the problem as yet.

can u feel it through the brake pedal?

have you checked that your coil springs are still in one piece?

i'd say either a cv joint or as gavthelad says a broken spring.

front top mounts? mine creek like mad! will be changing them when i do the front coilies!
