Mates got a farm with a long drive and you can get up 2 some heady speeds. notice the steering wheel started 2 vibrate up and down quite vigourously, any ideas what that coul be. Pretty sure the wheels don't need balancing.

unlock the release mechanism to adjust the sterring colom and make sure it is completly locked after.

if the "farm road" is bumpy your going to get a vibrating ......................well everything

cheers

for the advice Rash. I did adjust the steering a couple of weeks ago and maybe i havnt put it back right. The drive is quite smooth so if it isn't that, i do remember the chap at quickfit putting a new tyre on and saying that my alloy was slightly buckled:wtf:

swap your front wheels for your back ones or.............

get all 4 wheels balanced not just the fronts

also get them balanced correctly (weights on both edges of the rim) weights tucked in and hidden behind the spokes, if this can't be done get them to slip the tyre round a bit and then the weights will be able to be hidden, this is dynamic balancing

(static balancing) is the lazy way to balance a wheel without visible weights is to only but them on the inside rim of the wheel, this way is not so accurate

read here about static and Dynamic imbalance
