hello

i bought an 06 ibiza fr at the weekend, was fine during test drive etc. now its home its playing up!!! from cold it starts absolutely fine, when its up to temperature and i switch it off it struggles to start again. it turns over for like 15-20 seconds then fires up. its like there is air in the fuel system? one other thing is that it cuts out when i drive it hard on a long stretch of road then pull up at a junction, it will often stall. but then will fire up after 15-20 seconds of turning over.

can anyone help???

Sounds like your engine temperature has gone. Its only a few quid and should solve your problems. Its a different sensor for the temp gauge by the way, which is why it probably works fine.

thanks for that, tried it and didnt make any diffrence. i changed them both just to be sure. i've got a diesel filter coming in in the morning for it, do you know if they have 109 relays??? it now cuts out after a long road, e.g dual carriage way when i pull up at a junction. it feels fuel related if you ask me, its just got those symptoms. i was maybe thinking its drawing in air?? or maybe a 1 way valve in the fuel line?
