standing still

hi everyone just to let you know im new on here so please go easy on me and see if you can help me in the meantime.
I drive a 1.8t leon mk1 most of the time the power delivery is great but sometimes when i put my foot to the floor youd think i was standing still. Ive checked the car on vag com no codes but anoying non the less.
Yesterday i was blown away by a cleo 172 so i took some logs in third as ive seen on here but dont understand them so any help would be appreciated .

or just a 1.8t?

also, the clios are actually a pretty quick car. they are significantly lighter so they are surprisingly quick by comparison.

has your car had any mods?

is the, hesitation after you have lifted off and reapplied the throttle?

DV could be the cause?

its a leon 1.8t only mod is a bmc carbon filter.Its not just bieng done by a clio that does it when you put your foot to the floor it just seems to bog down sometimes and othertimes it just seems to fly.Its going to get booked in for a remap but i was wanting to know if everything looked alright before i went ahead.

yes it was like this before the new filter and it has a baily dv30 on i was hoping that would sort it out obviously not thought the logs might show something up to someone who new what they were looking at.But if its not showing anything unusual ill book it in at bells

Personally, I'd want to find any potential problems before putting the car under the increased stress of a remap. Remapping the engine will definitely highlight any existing problems, but might make things worse than they need to be.

For what it's worth... I'm sure I've read other comments on this forum about that DV causing problems. Might be worth a search....

no its not drive by wire.
cleo and me head to head till about 80-90 then he just started to pull away slowly but surely.bet he was laughing his t*t* off
