Don't forget there already tinted from the factory so there are hardly any tints that you can put on the fronts and still be legal.

Must let 70% light pass through the front windows, doesn't matter about the rears.

Yeah i understand that, still want something to match the back tho, but thats the reason why im asking for advice, being on the safest side from the options if prob 30% fronts 20% back... if not for the law, id go for 20% fron and 15% back.. Thanks for the advice

Yeah, what I was saying is you can't put a 30% tint on the front as there quite tinted from the factory, you need to find out how tinted they are as standard then go from there.

How do i find that out, does it state that in my log/service book? or is the only way of finding out is testing it through a machine?

And what your saying is, if my windows are 70% tinted, it means that they would be darker after the 30% rather than if they were 100% if you get what i mean?

I mean there tinted from standard so say they were 20% tinted and you put a 30% film on they would only allow 50% light through..... that would be illigal.

Does it have the tint % on the window?

Front says tinted 3 dot rear door says tinted 3 dot dot and the rear door lil window says tinted 3 dot dot dot

dont knw if the E2 numbers play a role? i must sound confusing but it doesnt actually say on any window a number and %

Loads of cars around my city are illegally tinted, but they get away with it for reasons of, well I don't know. The only reason I can think is 'discrimination'.

Is that good or bad? recently that ive booked for wednesday, ive been really looking out for cars that have dark front windows, but have hardly seen any.. could be the police that is really cutting down on it, or just people obaying the law, i understand that having a 5% limo tint on the front is stupid, but i dnt see that much of a problem with 20-30... hence the reason of consideration, what city you from dyscointinued?
