I said it coz proper track cars are a bit more hardcore than taking out the back seats.

I was running against a Cupra Ibiza at Santa Pod a few weeks ago!

He run a 14.1 with FMIC And Revo! Not bad!

Yes was running Stripped! Dont want to start a debate but a 1.6 vs 1.8 Turbo.. Would expect better thats all!

TBH im keen to know standard times as im after one! And dont want to buy a slower car!

Yeah you just have to remember the weight difference... a std saxo is lighter than a std ibiza.... a stripped saxo like yours is even lighter again that a std ibiza...this is why your times were similar on the 1/4 mile and your probably only roughly 20 bhp down if that.

To be honest i have come on a new forum to learn about a new car which im looking at! At the moment it looks like this site is 'Mostly' Full of t**ts!

The car is not fully stripped because i use the car daily!

No roll cage because i was gona sell up!

Its just the image portrayed by Saxos pal, they seem to be the cars which are prodominately driven by prats who think they are in control of a rocket! lol But they are still not bad cars as I said i had one which I loved until i got a Golf GTi then the VAG revolution engulfed me lol!

ive never really come across any twats at all on here and i like SEATS, we have 2 cupra's on the driveway, one quite modified one

if your looking at ibiza mk3's then good choice,especially if you want to start modding and getting more power.

Theres a really nice blue one for sale for £6500 i think it was in the for sale section if youre interested, 250 odd bhp and other suitable mods like Brembo brakes etc.

And to make it worse alot of you lot dont even understand about how much of a sleeper the vts is, the lower models of the saxo usually are turned into chav mobiles by the vts is usually sorced by the more intelligent.

Starkie your find on here that the majority have actually come from owning a saxo me being one of them, im russaxo off ssc.

Stick around were not twats on here at all i think weve just got off on the wrong foot.

You will love the quality of the ibiza compared to the Saxo, my mate really wishes he bought an Ibiza instead of his VTS.

0-100 standard should be around 21secs
0-100 remapped should be around 15/16 secs
0-100 with IHI should be around 11/12 secs

So to sum up:

Standard 60:7.5 Remapped:6-7secs
Standard 100:21 Remapped:15-16secs
Quarter mile: Standard: 15.5?? Remapped:14??

mid-high 14's when just remapped.

As you add on other bits... fmic, dp, race cat, filter, you will dip into low 14's.

add the fact im a 6ft 16st bloke and I think thats a pretty awesome time..and its the lowest time in the table!

i know all about how quick 1.6 16v 106/saxos are from my years at PGAC and trust me as standard the ibiza could match/pull away...revo'd they piss over one
