Do oyur coilovers make funny noises when turnign full lock, and make every bump in the road sound like you just got shot by a gun that fires tanks?
Well they are very hard and crashy. Lets say driving everyday is a pain. They "clonk" a bit but not as bad as you describe. I would suggest that if you have them wound right down they may be rubbing and banging on your ARB/Driveshaft. Or rather making your ARB rub on your driveshaft!
I know what you mean. Am thinking the same. Am looking into better quality coilovers. Weitec and possibly KW at the min.
I think with the Weitec -50mm kit, you'll get about a 40mm drop all round (assuming your FR has the same suspension as the LC). I think the estimates given by the manufacturers on how much your car will be lowered by, is based on a basic Leon (non LC, LCR or FR). My LCR needs a drop and I think this Weitec kit will drop it by about 30mm as its around 25mm lower than a standard Leon. I need to see some pics 1st though as I can make up my mind if this will be too low for an LCR.
sorry to bring this thread back up but has anyone actually put the 50mm Weitec kit on an LCR and has pics, i myself am concerned about how low it will be, i appreciate you are likely to see a 30-35 mm drop in reality but unsure if this is still too low, i might end up going for the 35mm Koni or 40mm KW to be safe but if pss would like pics of the supposed 50mm drop on an LCR
