It's been a couple of months since I last updated this thread! Done a little but to it, still need to get coilovers though..

First was thw cuora gauge holder, not too sure what to do with the spare one though..

Then was the cupra sport number plate holders with fresh plates! Fills out the space better and looks nice!

Got hekos after waiting for them for ages and spacers on the back make it look so much better! I'm gonna get a bit of the front bumper resprayed and a bit of the rear bumper sprayed soon as there's paint that has flanked off. I'll be happy when that's done as it'll get to where it should be in terms of bodywork. Well after getting a new bonnet too as the one on the car at the minute has loads of scratches and dents in it.. so if anyone has a red bonnet for sale let me know! ;)

Here's the car as it stands now! Also got some standard cupra stars too as I really like these standard wheels.

Bit of an update. Taken the car off the the road for a while as I can get things sorted and sourced a cheap car from work.

So the plans while it's off the road now is to replace the front brakes to Brembo max, I've got braided hoses too. Replace the brake fluid, replace the gearbox oil and give it another service. I've got some vmaxx coilovers coming too and a new bonnet as mine is scratched and dented loads. Also possibly a stage 1 map!

I'll update as and when I can. Hopefully this cupra will be a beast when it's all done

So this has been a while! Done a lot with the cupra since last time. I had a bit of an abs issue with it so it went to seat for nearly 3 weeks! It's back now and the issue is all sorted!

So I bought a second hand ECU with a stage 1 AMD map on it! This is the reason, my old one looked like this!

The map on the new one feels great, very smooth and boosts very well. I'm going on a rolling road soon hopefully so I'll see what power it's at.

I've put coilovers on, put some team dynamics pro race 1.2s on them with new tyres all round. Nankang ns2 on the rear and Kumhos on the front! And here's how the car looks now!

I had the front bumper resprayed as well as that was in a really sorry state, I'm really impressed with the outcome of it and the colour match!

I'm waiting on a few other bits and I've had to raise the rear coilovers as they were scrubbing really badly! So waiting for new top mounts for the rear and a few other bits! Can't wait to take it to shows this year!

Cheers!

Looking really good that.

I had a MK3 Ibiza Cupra a couple of years ago, it felt like a really solid, well built car.

The LCR I currently have feels very cheaply built in comparison.

RV02 RFN where are you!?

Just a couple of updates - bought some powerlfex rear top mounts for it, it's so stiff on the rear now! Comparison between the old and new is crazy.

Got it all tracked up at work as well after this so it handles well now! But i'm gonna lower it a little bit more on the rear and raise up the front as I'm still scraping on the front quite bad. Also just bought a cambelt kit and water pump for it so that's getting done soon. No record of it having been done so for peace of mind I'm doing it!

Gave it a good clean, Polish and sealant too and had a new bonnet on it so I'm happy so far!
