Hi all! Just recently bought a Mk3 Ibiza Cupra with only 48k miles on the clock!

Been looking for ages trying to find a low mileage one and this came up at the perfect time and good price in a town where family lived so it was perfect!

Traveled down 4 hours to pick it up and had a great drive back home in it and loved the power even though it's standard! I'll get some pictures up when i can!

Cheers!

Anyway, pictures! Here it is when i picked it up

That spoiler was definitely coming off so that was my first job the first evening after work when i was home. Although it left quite a mess..:wtf:

I wanted to de-wiper it and get the 'Turbo' badge off the back so i did that in the same evening. Looks much better at the back now! Here's before and after!

I took off the headlight covers at the top of the headlights as it looked terrible IMO!

With the help of my mate down the road with a cupra as well, we did a N249 bypass on the next evening, makes the bay look better as well and holds boost better!

I then got myself a Boost gauge as i wanted to see what boost it was running and if the boost was standard too - which it is! Temp holder ;)

I really needed to refurb the grab handles inside too as they were terrible, so that was one job i did first as well!

Before!

After!

Here's is how it stands in the meantime, i plan to get better alloys soon. Not sure what though, might go for something different or just standard cupra wheels! Not sure yet.

I've bought a better TIP so thatll be here by the weekend and hopefully fitted, then I'm gonna get coilovers at the end of the month! Go low! I'm getting a Honda S2000 Air filter too as they're meant to be good. There's so much to do but i've gotta refurb the exterior handles and wing mirrors soon as the lacquer has come off and looks poor!

What's in the box?! ;)

Got my S2k filter and an adapter for it as well! Also got an aux belt as the guy changed the alternator but not the belt and i got them both at an absolute bargain price! I'm looking at getting some cupra stars in grey so if i do get them they'll be put on the car and the wheels i have at the minute will be kept as winter wheels.

Next on the cards is new brakes, gauge holder and a good service which i feel is definitely needed!

Thanks for looking and i'll keep this going when more updates come along :)

Thanks mate!

I waited a long time to find a low milage one haha. A the the minute just general tidy up as the lacquer has come off the door mirrors and handles.

I've fitted 20 mm hubcentric spacers now, got a tip to fit and then after that I'll look into getting a stage one remap.

I'm after some better wheels too and coilovers!

Rear spacers are a must, almost lost the back end of mine in the twists many year's ago lol

Tip is a must for when u map it & also dv, coilpacks tend to give up too so have some spare when u take it to be mapped

I know where there are a set of AP coilover for sale ;-)

Bit of an update as I've not updated in a while. Had new brakes on the rear replaced, bought some heko wind deflectors which I'm still waiting for them to arrive! I've resprayed on of my wing mirrors as the lacquer was coming off, I've got a cupra r gauge holder on the way and I've just serviced it as well! I'll upload pictured when I can and after I've cleaned it! ;)
