tried to do the service reminder reset yesterday and my vagcom wont allow it, comes up with error message... i have the latest fully licensed vagcom?

anyone help with why it wont let me do it please

You don't need to use vag-com - it says how to do it in the owner's manual.

If you're that bothered, I think there's a way you can dump the map (without channel descriptions) to a file and send it to Ross-Tech for inclusion in their official data, but given that you can reset the service light by dicking around with the indicator stalks or something it's not really worth it.

Of coarse, if people would go ahead and send that information to Ross-Tech, the product would continue to evolve to cover more and more nuances. User support is how the tool became as good as it is. Continued user support is how it will continue to evolve.
