Squealing Brakes

I had new discs and pads put on a LC a few weeks ago at the local stealer when I had a 10k service.

They squeal really badly when braking while reversing. I took it back and asked them to look over the job that they'd done but couldnt find any problems. Just some dust etc...
The squeal is really bad - am I within my rights to take it back and demand it fixing?

Going to forward is no problem at all. I've done less than 500 miles since having them done. Is it a case of them wearing in?

They should have also applied some copper grease to the back of the pads. This helps.

If you have a look at the guide to fitting new brake pads that's on this site, you'll be able to fix this problem yourself. As r6_allan says, they should have applied copper grease to the back of the pads.... or anti-squeal shims at the very least. But it's nice and easy to do yourself, as copper grease can be bought from most places like Halfords and the guide I mentioned before will take you through each step.
