Hello Forum Members,

I have been complaining a lot about the various noises coming from my car since I bought it in 2021. It is frustrating that the problem has not been solved despite going to the service. As a result, I am looking for solutions to these annoying noises myself.

I started with the creaking noises coming from the doors. As you can see in the photos, I removed the window opening and closing buttons and stuck felt and fur-like coated tapes on the parts that touch the other plastics. I hope this will reduce the noise significantly.

I will share the solutions to the noises coming from different parts of the car with you in the coming days.

I would be very happy if you could also share the solutions to other noises in your car.

See you on the forum!

Very slight rattles in my doors have been my main gripe also. Got my car new in 2020 and have noticed different rattles dependent on the weather.

Out of interest how do you remove those pieces of trim?

i've tried a lot of things, including silicone spray, but the sounds keep coming...
I went and tried a different car, a 2023 model, and there are no such problems with it, and it even feels much more sturdy the sound of the door closing is also very different in a good mean

Have you tried kilmat in the door? I've been considering this option in case my solution fails

yes, I used a product similar to killmat and applied a thin layer of closed cell sponge. although the noise has significantly reduced but I have not been able to stop these crunching sounds.

i had been using arona xcellence for about 6 months and there was a velvet-like trim on the door upholstery. it looks like I'm going to get a coating like that at the end of this job

Check the door latch mechanisms as they may be worn

I had issue with boot lid and dealer is going to replace the boot lid latch

I would like to add that under the door upholstery there are some soundproofing sponges and they tend to peel off, which is why, for example, when listening to music, you can hear a rattling/creaking noise - you can glue it or stick a soundproofing mat above/below the sponge.

I peeled them off completely and replaced them with a soundproofing mat and glued sponges on the mat.

I'm attaching a photo of what it looks like
