Dont know if this has been mentioned before but if there is anyone looking for a cheaper alternative to the original accessories Sports pedals then check these out for the Fabia II. Got them off superskoda.com for 25 Euros and they fit in place of the standard ones and look better with the footrest plate.

Yep that footrest is from eBay and is meant to be for the golf, saw the posting off of this forum!

The footwell lights are wired into the interior dash dimmer switch so they come on when the sidelights come on and dim with the dash lights etc. Also got ambient lighting in the door bins and under the centre console above the drinks holders. Can post some pics if you want.

I'd appreciate some pics of that. I have both my footwells and one above the ash tray in red but want to see what else would look good.

Also if you're going to get these I'd definitely get them to come on with the interior lights. I have a switch and it's more annoying than useful.

Ambient Interior Lights

A few pics on what I have done. Basically tapped into the wires coming from the dimmer switch so they all dim with the rest of the lights. Used scotch locks to safely tap into the cables as shown here, grey blue positive, brown negative >>

I then used that power source to hook up a few prism LEDs and SMD LED strips for under the climate control section to light up the cup holders and a mess of cables!:D

I took off the door handle trim and tapped into the window switch as they have a light power source as well so the door bins have a bit of light which is useful at night to see what crap is stored in them etc. You can see the three tiny LEDs in the far left of the picture for the passenger door bin in the picture below.

I was in a funny mood and was looking for more places to put lights, nothing like over doing it, so I put some more SMD LED stips under the front seats for the rear footwells, worked out quite well.

Here are the products I used:

15 SMD LED Strip Light x4

Prism Micro LED Lights

Prism Door Handle Lighting Kit x2

Im about to order some red LED's to do a similar job under the footrests. Sorry if this seems a daft question but, Was just wondering what cable did you use? How did you hide the cable going past the center console? Did it hide well?

Cheers

ive got the seat sport pedals, got them on offer :p lol

But the clutch and brake you pull the rubber covers off the standard pedals then the new ones have 2 plates that fit around the pedals and 4 screws one in each corner.
the accelerator pedal you leave the rubber on, then the 2 plate behind again and 4 screws on in each corner again.

Fitted mine in about 5-10 min :)
i prefer the style of the seat ones with dots on rather then the strips
