Hi Guys, I know this has been covered alot but nothing recent so here goes,

one of my rear speakers has started to crackle so I am going to upgrade the front speakers then put one of the ones i remove from the front into the back to replace the crackling speaker,

What i am wanting to know is what is a decent speaker to fit at the moment, Wanting to spend a max of £60 or less really and seen both of the below but am unsure tbh of what is good and not at the moment so any help would be appreciated.

https://www.caraudiocentre.co.uk/product_m-alpine-sxe-1750s_p-20265.htm (would only use the speaker and not the tweeter)

http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/spe...reference-6502ix-16-5cm-135w-coaxial-speakers

also as speaker depth's vary a lot is there a recommended depth to fit or with the sak-3103 adapters will most fit fine. and what screws do i need to get to fit the adapters to the door, is there a recommended size or width to stop this interfering with the window when it is down.

last question, Is it worth using any kind of sound deadening while I am doing this?

Thanks for any response and advise in advance

hi mate

i would recommend components all day long, not hard to swap the tweeter over whilst your doing the doors anyway and will make a big difference.

i would look at
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ground-Ze...202504?hash=item360ea92e88:g:CLYAAOSwnHZYSCnB

something like those over the ones you've posted.

budget for deadening will depend whether you bother tbf, I've done none to full car deadening and yes it makes a difference.

screws will depend on where the mounting points are, if they go into the original holes just check what size the hole is and get something countersunk.

hope that helps
