Speaker problem with garmin device

When I connect my phone to the garmin device through Bluetooth, the sound comes from 1 speaker with a crackling type sound from the right.

If I go over bumps it would sometimes play through the right speaker then if there's another bump it cuts off, although if I press down on the stand for the garmin it does the same, is there anyway to fix this, no problems with the sound when using the radio etc. So may be a fault with the stand holding the garmin.

Is there cabling to the garmin from the stand, specifically a jack plug going into the unit?

If you're connected by bluetooth either the jack is being triggered by something, cutting out the bt audio or the unit is losing power and has no juice in the battery causing it to malfunction.

Whats the garmin set up
